Job Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Compute Linux & Storage DevOps Engineer to join our cloud transformation initiative. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Linux components, and enterprise storage systems, along with hands-on experience in automation and backup solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub.
- Support cloud transformation efforts through scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
System Administration:
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based compute and storage environments.
- Ensure the stability, performance, and security of on-prem and hybrid cloud environments.
Backup & Recovery:
- Configure and manage backup solutions for critical infrastructure and applications.
Incident & Problem Management:
- Provide L3-level support, handle on-call escalations, and manage critical incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to avoid recurrence.
Quality & Compliance:
- Adhere to internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Contribute to service improvement plans, update the knowledge base, and train junior engineers.
