RINA is currently recruiting for a Genoa Junior Marine Surveyor to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Mediterranean and Africa Marine Division.​Mission
The Junior Surveyor is to contribute to the organization's commitment to maritime safety, compliance, and excellence by applying knowledge of Rules, Regulations, and industry principles.
The Junior Surveyor supports the surveying team in performing routine inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and staying informed about evolving industry practices.Key Accountabilities

Professional Application• Acts as a professional specialist, applying relevant knowledge of rules, regulations, standards, and industry concepts within the organization’s framework.• Applies technical knowledge and professional judgment within the scope of assigned responsibilities.

Inspection and Reporting• Conducts routine surveys and inspections of classed ships, platforms, and marine structures to verify compliance with classification and statutory requirements.• Performs surveys in accordance with the guidance and supervision of a Surveyor,



Senior Surveyor, or Principal Surveyor.• Prepares technically accurate, complete, and timely inspection and survey reports.• Clearly documents findings, observations, and any relevant recommendations arising from surveys.

File Maintenance• Maintains survey files in an orderly, accurate, and up-to-date manner within the assigned area of responsibility.• Ensures that relevant survey documentation and records are properly maintained and readily accessible.

Continuous Learning• Maintains an active awareness of new working methods, technical developments, regulations, and industry practices relevant to assigned responsibilities.• Engages in continuous learning to enhance technical knowledge and professional skills related to surveying activities.• Keeps up to date with applicable classification and statutory requirements.
