We are seeking a post-doctoral candidate to contribute to our ongoing projects, which focus on elucidating the effects of aging on the myeloid response in elderly stroke patients and developing innovative strategies to counteract age-related changes. Furthermore, we are investigating the cellular and molecular processes underlying cerebral thrombosis in diverse conditions, including aging.

Main activities:
Utilize cutting-edge flow cytometry and single-cell RNA sequencing techniques;
Conduct hands-on animal experimentation;
Perform molecular analysis using state-of-the-art molecular biology techniques;
Analyse and interpret data to uncover meaningful insights.
Who we are looking for:
Ph.D. in biomedical sciences or related fields, with expertise in immunology;
Proficiency in molecular biology, animal experimentation, and molecular techniques;
Strong scientific track record, exceptional communication abilities, adept at both independent and team-oriented work;
Experience in stroke modelling is a plus.
