Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, growing and managing an account base. Accountable to directly identify and initiate development efforts. Develop and execute a field sales business plan that will achieve the corporate revenue goals.Accountable to directly identify and initiate business development opportunities

This is a field-based remote role. We are looking for individuals to be located in central Italy (from Bolognia to Rome area).
Responsibilities
- Develops new business across all of our core competencies
- Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams multiple services
- Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company
- Support and consulting of existing customers as well as further development of a professional cooperation
- Conducting sales and negotiation meetings
- Preparation of offers and calculations
- Processing of customer correspondence
- Preparation and assembly of accompanying documents (offers, concepts, presentations, etc.)
- Planning; organization and execution of customer visits
- Recording and ensuring data maintenance in the CRM as well as for cross-departmental topics in the CRM
- Implementation of regular review meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Completed further training as a forwarding specialist
- 5+ year’s relevant business to business sales experience in Logisitcs, Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain Industry preferred
- Fluent level Italian and very good English language skills

- According to the CCNL Logistica Trasporto Merci e Spedizione the minimum gross base salary for this role is EUR2.181,55 per month based on level 2. The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills.
