Il ruolo prevede la redazione di proposte tecniche e analisi dei costi e rischi, collaborazione con clienti nel settore Spazio, Difesa (NATO), Istituzioni ed Agenzie Europee, e supporto alle attività di Pre-Sales.

Sono richiesti almeno 5 anni di esperienza, competenze avanzate in architetture enterprise e gestione servizi, e conoscenze in ambito Cloud e sicurezza. Offerta permanente con modalità di lavoro ibrida e possibilità di viaggi nazionali e internazionali.

Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Division, we are looking for a Proposal Engineer for one of our offices in Genoa – Fiumara or Rome – Laurentina.

This person will be responsible for the following activities:

- Drafting technical proposals, cost and risk assessment during the offer phase or response to Tenders, RFQs and RFIs, particularly for clients in the Space, Defense (NATO), Institutions and European Agencies markets;
- Drafting technical documents for proposing solutions and/or PoC/Demo to the Business Line's clients;
- Participation in working groups with the Client and resources from other divisional Operational Units;
- Design of complex Information Systems with a particular focus on Cloud components, IT Infrastructures, Large IT Systems;
- Support for Pre-Sales activities at reference clients in the Space, Defense (NATO), Institutions and European Agencies markets;
- Knowledge of technical-design aspects in the reference context.

REQUIREMENTS

Education




Master's Degree in STEM disciplines, preferably in IT.

Any Masters, Certifications, and/or specific courses in Cloud, Dev Ops or Zero Trust will be considered a plus.

Seniority

At least 5 years of work experience in the Role, with activities of drafting technical offers in the Information Systems field, and in particular:

- Enterprise Architectures:
- Experience in defining multilayer ICT architectures, reference architectures, integration patterns and end-to-end models.
- Ability to model and represent architecture using tools such as Archi Mate
- Familiarity with methodologies, principles and guidelines for interoperability such as EIF, EIRA, FMN
- Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as TOGAF, NAF, EU-EIRA and EU-EI.
- Service Management:
- Experience in defining and describing service models, SLA/KPIs, operational processes and service catalog.
- Excellent knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Capacity, Availability).
- Ability to design services according to interoperability and operational continuity criteria typical of NATO contexts, including best practices derived from the Federated Mission Network (FMN) for modularity, integration and service governance.

It is preferable to have gained the aforementioned experience in international contexts, preferably in one or more reference markets/Clients (Space, NATO, European Institutions and Agencies)

Knowledge, skills and certifications in Cloud, Dev Ops or Zero Trust will be considered a plus.

Technical knowledge and skills

- Ability to analyze and synthesize technical documentation (specifications, technical specifications, project and product documentation) in English;
- Ability to set up and effectively write technical offers in English;
- Ability to define and present solutions;
- Knowledge of products and solutions in one or more of the following areas:
- Cloud, such as: Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, Open Shift, Docker), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Cloud Security (Prisma Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Wiz),



hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle OCI), API Gateway and Integration Platform (AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, Apigee, Kong, Mule Soft), RESTful API and GraphQL architectures.
- ITSM Tooling, such as: Service Now, Jira Service Management, CMDB/asset management, service catalog
- Observability & Operations, such as: SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Elastic), APM/Log Analytics, Nagios, Zabbix, runbook automation
- Integration & Data Exchange, such as: API Gateway (Kong, Mulesoft), Enterprise Integration Platforms, Data Governance
- [nice to have] Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles derived from experience in the Space and/or NATO fields.
- [nice to have] Knowledge of industry standards and best practices (ECSS, MIL, ISO27001, TOGAF, STANAG, AQAP).
- [nice to have] Experience in drafting offers for systems/products/projects for the management of Classified information.

- Excellent knowledge of architecture modeling tools (Archimate) and UML;
- [nice to have] Knowledge of SysML/MBSE modeling tools;

Other

- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (15-25%).
- Possess the requirements to obtain personal security clearance up to EU/ESA/NATO SECRET.
