About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Senior Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee the company's accounting, financial reporting, treasury, compliance, and corporate governance activities.The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial statement preparation, capable of operating autonomously and interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. Industry-specific training will be provided where necessary.Ideal Candidate ProfileA senior finance professional who can immediately take ownership of financial statements, reporting, compliance, audits, and treasury activities, requiring only onboarding and training on the specific technicalities of our industry. Previous experience in the shipping sector, particularly in maritime container transportation, is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Manage and coordinate the accounting function, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records and financial data.Prepare and analyze financial and management reports for company leadership and external stakeholders.Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term cash flow planning.Oversee treasury management and liquidity planning.Ensure compliance with tax, accounting, and legal requirements.Coordinate transfer pricing activities and support the preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation (Master File and Local File/National Documentation).Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, statutory auditors, and consultants.Coordinate annual and periodic audit processes.Organize and support quarterly meetings with Statutory Auditors.Prepare and manage corporate documentation, including Board of Directors' resolutions, minutes, proxies,



and other statutory documentation.Liaise with banks and financial institutions, maintaining strong business relationships and supporting financing activities.Coordinate relationships with notaries and legal advisors when required.Support weekly financial reporting activities.Provide guidance and coordination to the accounting team.RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, finance, auditing, or corporate finance roles.Proven experience in preparing statutory financial statements.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.Experience managing external audits and compliance activities.Previous experience coordinating finance or accounting teams is preferred.Technical SkillsAdvanced knowledge of financial reporting and financial analysis.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Strong understanding of corporate governance and statutory requirements.Familiarity with transfer pricing regulations and documentation is considered a plus.Excellent Excel and ERP system skills.Personal SkillsHigh level of reliability, ownership, and accountability.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Professional English proficiency.What We OfferA key leadership role within the finance organization.Exposure to strategic financial and business decision-making.Opportunity to work closely with senior management and external stakeholders.Training on industry-specific technical aspects where required.Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience (RAL Range €50,000 - €65,000).
