ph3Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics /h3 pWe are seeking a dedicated Terminal Support Specialist (m/f/d) to oversee and facilitate the efficient operation of our terminal facilities at our location in Domodossola.
In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks essential to maintaining quality, efficiency, and compliance within our terminal operations.
/p h3What you'll do: /h3 ul liCheck trailers, containers and swap bodies in and out.
/li liCheck and log vehicle and load details (e.g. on a tablet/scanner).
/li liHelp the team load and unload transport units and trains.
/li liShunt and move trailers/containers/swap bodies around the terminal yard (e.g. with a terminal vehicle).
/li liDepending on your licence/experience, operate handling kit (e.g. forklift/reach stacker) and pitch in with general terminal tasks.
/li liHelp keep the terminal safe, clean and tidy.
/li /ul h3Your Background Skills /h3 ul liCompletion of technical training, along with several years of relevant professional experience.
/li liBasic knowledge of business administration.
/li liPossession of a bPDT - A Shunting Driver /b certificate.
/li liSolid understanding of brail shunting dynamics /b, both within and outside railway junctions.
/li liFamiliarity with brailway equipment /b and its routine maintenance procedures.
/li libForklift driver's licence /b and proficiency in forklift maneuvering.
/li liPreferred: Experience in brail traffic management /b or a background in rail/transport operations.
/li liStrong focus on bhealth and safety /b, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of terminal activities.
/li libHands?on /b approach with the ability to adapt flexibly to operational demands.
/li liProficiency in bEnglish /b and bItalian /b.
/li /ul pIn addition, a keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, commitment to effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, passion for optimizing logistics operations, and dedication to ensuring regulatory compliance are essential attributes for this role.
