Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and organised Laundry Supervisor to join our team at Constance Halaveli, Maldives.
In this supervisory role, you will oversee all laundry operations for our luxury resort, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and service excellence.
You will lead a dedicated team, manage daily operations, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations whilst supporting the smooth functioning of our hospitality services.
- Supervise and manage the laundry team, providing clear direction, support, and constructive feedback to ensure optimal performance • Oversee all laundry operations, including washing, drying, pressing, and folding of linens and guest garments • Maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure all items meet resort specifications and guest expectations - Plan and schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workload distribution • Monitor inventory levels of linens, chemicals, and supplies, coordinate ordering and stock management • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the laundry facility - Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance with relevant departments • Train new staff members on laundry procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards • Prepare reports on operational metrics, staff performance, and any issues requiring management attention • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiency measures • Maintain a clean, safe,
and organised working environment for all team members Qualifications - Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a laundry or hospitality environment - Comprehensive knowledge of laundry operations, including industrial equipment and processes • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks • Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to laundry operations • Proficiency in basic inventory management and record-keeping - Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges • Ability to work flexibly, including shift work as required by resort operations • Desirable experience with laundry management systems or software • Desirable experience in training and staff development • Desirable knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and guest service expectations Additional InformationWORK WITH CONSTANCE Join a team where well-being, career development, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
