Simulation Engineer Intern | Internship Tempo pieno
€800/month.
Bologna or Florence, Italy.
On-site presence required. This is not a fully remote position.
What you'll do
Accident Simulation:
Develop and test vehicle collision simulations using physics-based engines.
Model Validation:
Compare simulation results with real-world crash data to validate accuracy and refine model parameters.
Automation & Tools:
Help automate data preparation, simulation workflows, and reporting pipelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work alongside AI and software engineers to connect simulation outputs with our AI-based reconstruction system.
What we're looking for
Master's or Bachelor's degree
in
Mechanical Engineering
,
Automation Engineering
,
Aerospace
Engineering
, or related fields.
Strong understanding of
mechanics, vehicle dynamics, and impact energy dissipation
.
Familiarity
CAD
, or any other
Multibody/FEA tools
(e.g., LS-Dyna, MATLAB/Simulink, Adams, or similar).
Basic programming skills (Python, MATLAB, or C++) are a plus.
Analytical mindset, curiosity, and attention to detail.
Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Fluency in Italian is required for this role.
