If you have a passion for hands-on technical work and a background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems – we want to hear from you. You will work on and around shipboard cranes, winches, hatch covers, steering gears, and RoRo equipment, out in the field – on vessels, at shipyards, and at client sites across Europe. More Tasks And Responsibilities

- Professionally supervise and/or perform service activities - advanced activities including inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, refurbishments,



and upgrades on MacGregor and third-party equipment.
- Work hands-on with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems across the MacGregor product portfolio.
- Support complex technical investigations and problem-solving activities.
- Read and work from technical drawings and documentation.
- Follow all site safety rules, agreed working practices, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare accurate service reports, time sheets, travel expenses, and other required documentation.
- Coach and mentor junior team members and trainees as needed.
- Cooperate with the wider MacGregor service network across Europe.

What You’ll Need To Succeed The ideal candidate will be a role model with good work practices and independent working methods.

Ideally You Have

- Apprenticeship, technical diploma, or degree in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, marine engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience - we welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals and use standard hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good digital skills, including report writing and basic data entry.




- Good command of English for report writing and on-site communication.
- A valid driving license.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Europe, including overnight and multi-week assignments.
