Job Description Trevi SpA is hiring for construction sites in Italy. Welders
Ensure the restoration of damaged or worn metal components through welding. Manufacture new metal parts by interpreting detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with required safety and quality standards.
Prepare surfaces to be welded.
Select the most suitable welding method and tools based on materials, part dimensions, and the purpose of the work.
Maintain work tools and equipment in optimal condition.
Propose potential improvements or modifications to enhance the functionality, strength, and safety of the finished product.
Check welds for defects or imperfections.
Verify, using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments, that the welding meets the parameters specified in the project, and perform quality checks.
Report any issues or anomalies encountered to the direct supervisor.
Support the manager in departmental activities.
Knowledge of mechanical stresses and material strength.
Ability to assess weld quality (finishing, integrity, burrs, etc.).
Competence in selecting appropriate welding tools, materials, and techniques.
Ability to record technical data related to completed work processes.
Knowledge, compliance with, and application of specific safety regulations (PPE, etc.).
Knowledge of and adherence to QC procedures and technical requirements (technical drawings, material standards, etc.).
Ability to evaluate the proper functioning of safety devices on the tools used (visual, mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, etc.). Trevi Group is an equal opportunity employer.
