**About the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**: - Develop and execute the company's technology architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and goals.
- Design and architect end-to-end solutions that leverage modern technology stacks, including JavaScript frameworks, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and other technical professionals to ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team, ensuring best practices, code patterns, and high-quality standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate with other company stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, marketing, and customer support, to drive product development and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to optimize engineering operations and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the technology industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape, to inform strategic decision-making and solution development.
- Set and deliver KPIs for the engineering team, ensuring strong familiarity with OKR/KPI frameworks to continually measure and optimize team performance. **Qualifications**: - Expertise in system design, with a strong capability to implement it effectively across modern technology stacks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Node.js).
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field, with at least 4 years in a leadership or architecture role.
- Proven track record of success in developing and launching innovative technology solutions.
- Strong technical expertise in software development, system architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. **Nice to haves**: - Experience with products that have a large user base.
