Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Private Equity & Investment Funds Attorney to work on a contract basis. The role involves advising on fund formation, compliance, and transactional matters for private equity and investment funds. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating fund documents and providing regulatory guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on the structuring, formation, and ongoing compliance of private equity and investment funds.
- Draft, review, and negotiate fund agreements, side letters, and related transactional documents.
- Provide legal guidance on regulatory requirements, including SEC and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct due diligence for fund investments and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with legal and business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in private equity or investment fund law,
including fund formation and compliance.
- Knowledge of SEC regulations and other relevant financial regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
