We are now looking for a Business Development professional in the area of Transport to drive client value creation, thought leadership and industry solutions for products and services enabling business growth within the Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA). The respective Business Developer has deep industry insights and has strong relationships across and understanding of the industry ecosystem and key actors. **What you will do**
- Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader, grow our business and build strong customer relations in the area of Transport with high focus on Microwave and IP & Fronthaul.
- Influence Customers vision & strategy, drive Ericsson involvement in crafting customer visions, strategies & requirements.
- Engage with non-CSP customers, such as MCN, enterprise, provide support for new CSP customers and influence industry trends and standards.
- Industry business builder and engagement lead to drive/provide expertise for new solutions/break-ins and other selected opportunities.
- Support the Customer Units (sales teams) in MELA to develop the needs and funnel, act as an Industry expert and authority.
- Develop viable and competitive business/commercial models with Commercial Management
- Together with Portfolio Management define technical/development partnership requirements for generic and industry specific products.
- Define industry offerings strategies and roadmaps in MELA
- Solution qualification in opportunities and industry business/commercial models
- Functional Industry Requirements to Portfolio Development
- Recommend and Drive techno-commercial value argumentation
- Collaborate with the other products line’s organizations in the Business Areas
- Work, collaborate and maintain with the respective Business Area organization
- Develop competence and knowledge sharing in MELA
- Share best methodologies within MELA
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate a “Transport Evolution” vision to our customers **You will bring**
- Substantial experience from Transport, preferably from sales, presales and delivery of complex projects
- Strong Business Understanding and Critical Thinking
- Senior capability in leading and inspiring change in large, complex, and cross-functional teams
- Strong cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal communications and networking skills
- Thought Leadership in identifying short
- and long-term priorities to improve the business strategy
- Strong Techno-Commercial approach
