**We are seeking a qualified and experienced Drama and English Teacher across our Key Stage 3 and IGCSE curricula.** Previous IGCSE Drama teaching and experience with organizing school theatre productions are preferred. Teaching allocation for the position will be mostly in Drama in KS3 and IGCSE but will also include an assignment of English classes appropriate to the background and experience of the successful applicant. **Qualifications**: - Full secondary teaching qualifications;
- Proficiency in English and other language/s;
- Excellent understanding of the demands of IGCSE examinations in Drama. **Personal competences**: - Excellent knowledge of the world of theatre and best practice in drama instruction;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Commitment to fostering a multicultural and inclusive learning environment. **Key responsibilities**: - Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver well-structured business & economics lessons in alignment with the school's curriculum and learning objectives.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess student performance through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Innovation: Integrate innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience and promote student engagement.
- Differentiated Instruction: Cater to the diverse needs of students by implementing differentiated instruction strategies, ensuring that all learners make progress.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and supports the emotional well-being of students.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in business & economics education.
- Parent Communication:
Collaborate with parents to provide regular updates on students' progress and communicate any concerns or achievements.
