We are currently looking for a **SOURCING MANAGER** to join our **Sourcing, Purchasing and Quality Department**. In this role, you will create, own and lead the Sourcing Strategy, working closely with internal cross-functional teams to manage external suppliers relations, costs, lead times and planning strategies effectively. You will use your extensive product related technical knowledge to do so, as well as your expertise in the supplier’s market, keeping up-to-date with any market changes. **Main Responsibilities**
- Thanks to your extensive product knowledge, you will have a deep understanding of the product, its technical pack as well as the related cost sheets, so to not only source the best materials within the planned costs, but also to effectively diversify the sourcing strategy.
- You will also be responsible for creating the product sourcing strategy, by identifying new suppliers, building a strong and long-lasting working relationship with them, as well as owning the costs, lead times and planning negotiations with them, so to secure advantageous terms.
- You will be in charge of assessing, managing and mitigating any risks in the sourcing and procurement processes.
- You will be collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders including the R&D; department, purchasing and technical teams, so to guarantee a continuous clarity on the required product specifications.
- You will oversee the existing product styles review with suppliers and vendors, so to secure ongoing feasibility for bulk production.
- You will also take part to sample fittings, working closely with the industrialisation team. Thanks to your solid procurement and sourcing expertise, you will perform cost and scenario analysis, creating a benchmark for the business, as well as keeping up-to-date with market trends and drives. **Requisiti**: - A minimum of 15 years’ experience in product development, sourcing and / or procurement activities within the Spostwear industry, having gained a solid understanding of very technical products and related sourcing processes.
- In-depth knowledge of technical products such as Motorcycle gear, related têxtiles and production techniques.
- Previous experience in sourcing technical garments, as well as identifying, nurturing strong working relationships and handling complex negotiations with suppliers across the Far East, Asia and the Mediterranean regions.
- Solid analytical skills, as well as previous experience in managing costs and related documentation.
- Availability to travel to conduct sourcing and sample development activities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work well and liaise with various stakeholders both internally and externally to the company.
- Fluency in English is a must-have.
