- Provides support to the Business Controller of Marchesi 1824, contributing to financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning activities. Assists in monitoring performance, optimizing costs, and supporting decision-making processes through data-driven insights. **RESPONSIBILITIES** The resource will be integrated into the Finance team and will be responsible for: - Supporting the Business Controller in two key 2024 cost optimization projects: Food Cost and Labour Cost.
- Food Cost:
recipe management, commercial analysis, variance analysis between theoretical and actual margins, stock control procedures, and related movements.
- Labour Cost: workforce scheduling, KPI monitoring and control.
- Analyzing data and KPIs.
- Carrying out business analysis activities related to sales and specific projects, with the aim of contributing to the improvement and implementation of new planning and reporting systems.
- Preparing periodic reports (related to actuals, rolling forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans).
- Conducting strategic analysis within the retail sector. **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Economic background
- Similar 1-2 year experience in this role
- Passion for the Food & Beverage industry
- Analytical mindset and passion for numbers
- Skilled in digital work and data processing and consolidation
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
