TXT Group is looking for an Avionic Software Developer to join the Aerospace & Aviation division of TXT e-Tech, a company within the Group.
The successful candidate will join teams dedicated to the design and development of avionics software components, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of software solutions in compliance with the specifications and standards required by the industry.
The candidate will work closely with the development and testing teams, taking part in the various phases of the software lifecycle and providing support in technical assistance activities for customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Analysis of avionics specifications provided by the customer;
- Design and development of avionics software components;
- Bug fixing and software maintenance activities;
- Collaboration with the testing team during verification and validation activities;
- Support in customer technical assistance activities;
- Collaboration with the development team to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming;
- Good knowledge of the C and C++ programming languages.
Optional Technical Skills
- Knowledge of DO-178B / DO-178C standards;
- Knowledge of the Ada 95 programming language;
- Knowledge of UML modeling.
Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Engineering;
- Computer Science;
- Related fields.
Soft Skills
- Good command of the English language;
- Excellent ability to work in a team and share working methods and knowledge;
- Ability to meet deadlines and assigned objectives;
- Good learning skills and willingness to grow professionally;
- Ability to work independently after an appropriate training period;

- The employment level and classification will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the Italian Metalworking Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
