The successful candidate will be placed within the machining department and trained in the use of CNC machine tools, ensuring the quality and compliance of the finished product with company standards.
The candidate will learn machine set-up, programming, and operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting CNC programmes and positioning materials to be machined
- Setting up machine tools (CNC lathes and/or machining centres)
- Monitoring the machine during processing operations
- Checking the quality of machined parts using measuring instruments
- Carrying out manual adjustments or finishing operations in line with specifications when required
Requirements
- Some experience, even limited, as a CNC operator or in machining
- Basic CNC programming knowledge (at the machine)
- Basic understanding of machining processes
- Ability to use standard manual measuring tools
- Good knowledge of mechanical drawings
- Technical or mechanical diploma/qualification preferred
