**Business Overview**:
**Job Purpose**:
The resource, reporting to the Site Manager and collaborating with the external RSPP, will be responsible for the management of the maintenance of the different machines on site. After a short training, he/she will also collaborate on the verification and updating of company procedures in terms of health, safety and the environment.
The resource will be located in Agliana (Florence). **Responsibilities**:
The new resource will: - Carry out the work necessary for the ordinary and extraordinary mechanical maintenance of the workplaces and machinery used for production and auxiliary services (scrubbers, scales, etc.), carry out periodic checks and any repairs. Their work will be carried out in all company areas.
- Manage all documentation relating to the equipment (certificates of conformity, use and maintenance manual, etc.), update the respective archives and company procedures (health, safety, prevention, protection and environment) based on current regulations.
- Support external companies that carry out extraordinary maintenance work by recording all maintenance interventions in the relevant management system and support the EHS office for the safety work permits.
- Operate in accordance with the operating procedures and instructions given by superiors,
actively participating in the proposed information and training activities. They will undertake to be proactive in reporting any anomalies or critical issues detected and in contributing to improvement proposals relevant to their role.
- Propose improvements and action plans according to current regulations.
- Check deadlines (e.g. PPE, fire-fighting devices, medical visits, etc.) by contacting external reference companies.
- Manage the relevant registers.
- Manage training and information activities, both mandatory and at the level of internal company policies.
- Manage general and job-specific trainings for collaborators.
- Pursue the reduction of risks coming from work-related injuries, accidents and illnesses.
- Manage MUD and industrial waste. **Requirements & Qualifications**: - Mechanical maintenance experience
- Basic Electrical maintenance experience
- Ability to use forklifts would be a plus
