**Summary**:
The Manufacturing Unit Head ensures the achievement of the Process Unit's objectives by guaranteeing continuous improvement and integration and alignment with other company functions, in compliance with legal regulations, company policies and procedures regarding HSE, GMP, protection of company
assets, and the Code of Conduct. **About the Role**:
**Major accountabilities**: - Ensure the production of pharmaceutical specialties in compliance with timelines, costs, and current GMP and HSE regulations.
- Assign the objectives and priorities of the Process Unit in line with the KPIs and objectives of the Plant.
- Develop strategies and action plans to ensure the performance and continuous improvement of the Process Unit.
- Determine the resource needs (collaborators, equipment) to ensure the operational excellence of the Process Unit.
- Ensure the integration and alignment of the Process Unit with other company functions (e.g., Quality Control, Plant Engineering).
- Oversee the drafting and compliance with the budget of the Process Unit.
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of communication activities both within and outside the Process Unit.
- Ensure that in the relevant Department, the HSE processes reported in the "HSE Management System" and falling within the
responsibilities of the role are managed and implemented in line with the objectives and policies of the Site and Group.
- Ensure optimal management of the human resources entrusted, in line with current regulations and company policies.
- Performs the role of Manufacturing SPOC (Site Point of Contact), coordinating different teams and ensuring compliance with the Guidelines, in terms of Emergency Management. Essential requirements: - Scientific academic background.
- Extensive experience in a similar role within a GMP environment.
- Solid proven people management skills.
- Stakeholder management skills and able to interact with different departments within the organization, locally and globally (HSE, Quality, Engineering, Finance etc).
