Job Purpose/RoleReporting to the Property Team Leader, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Property & Liability risks into the Italian market. You will be the contact person for selected agents working with the Mid-Corporate team, supporting them in the business development. You will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.Steer and control the portfolio at local level to drive the achievement of financial targets.Proactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycle.Work closely with Sales departments, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities,
corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.Proactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified productsSupport the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)Communicate local business strategy externallyKey Requirements/Skills/ExperienceMaster's degree in Engineering or Economics or Law4-8 years proven experience in underwriting profitable Property including both PD/BI and Theft and Liability business for Corporate Clients.Preference if also experienced in Multinational clients.Proven leadership skillsExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.Sound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skillsIdeally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordingsIdeally experience in driving underwriting projectsEntrepreneurial mindsetStrong communication skil
