Data Center is a complex application and a strategic growth area for Eaton. It has unique characteristics derived from the fact that it straddles IT and facility, and that the Data Center and IT are in the middle of a radical transformation due to the combination of digitization and surge of AI loads driving a fast growth in power needs on the one hand, and de‑carbonization and grid saturation on other hand.
For our Data Center Design Engineering Team supporting the South Zone,
we are seeking a Spain Italy-based Data Center Design Manager (Electrical), reporting into the EMEA Director of Engineering - DC Segment - You will be responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of innovative data center solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in data center design and a passion for driving innovation. This role requires influential technical leader who can drive design innovation, managing engineering teams, lead continuous improvement to enable the delivery of high‑quality, efficient, and scalable data centre solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Design Manager on data centre projects, leading the electrical design scope from concept, through detailed design, to construction support and closeout.
- Remain hands on in electrical design, providing technical leadership and ownership of critical design aspects for mission critical faciliti
