The opportunity Are you an experienced maintenance leader ready for a role where your decisions directly influence reliability, safety and operational performance?
Job Requirements At LANXESS in Latina, you will take ownership of the maintenance function for our Lubricant Additives production site. This is a visible leadership role for someone who enjoys working close to operations, leading people and improving the long?term performance of industrial assets.
You will lead an established multidisciplinary maintenance team, coordinate external contractors and work closely with Production, Engineering and HSE. The role is hands?on enough to stay connected to the plant, and strategic enough to shape maintenance priorities, reliability improvements and future site development.
What You Will Do Lead the maintenance function for the Latina production site, ensuring safe, reliable and cost?effective operation of plant assets.
Develop and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies.
Drive Mechanical Integrity, reliability improvement and equipment availability initiatives.
Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team of electricians, mechanical and utilities technicians, and maintenance coordination professionals.
Manage external contractors and specialist service providers when required.
Work closely with Production, Engineering, Automation and HSE to improve plant performance and support optimization projects.
Manage the maintenance budget, SAP processes, spare parts strategy and critical inventory.
Ensure compliance with LANXESS standards,
legal requirements and Seveso regulations.
What you bring Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
Several years of maintenance leadership experience in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, specialty chemicals, lubricant additives or another continuous process manufacturing environment.
Experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams and coordinating contractors.
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, Mechanical Integrity and asset management.
Experience managing maintenance budgets, KPIs and maintenance planning through SAP or another CMMS.
Strong leadership, communication, coaching and decision?making skills.
Professional working proficiency in Italian, native or C2 level, and English, at least B2 level.
Nice to have Experience working on a Seveso or Major Hazard industrial site.
Experience with asset lifecycle management and reliability improvement programmes.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or TPM.

Competitive annual gross salary between EUR56,000 and EUR76,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
12% Annual Performance Payment, APP, upon confirmation.

Practical information The role is based full?time on site in Latina, Italy.
