Cloud Platform Operations Engineer – AWS
The Cloud Platform Operations Engineer – AWS is responsible for the hands?on operation of the Imaging & Informatics cloud platform.
Cloud Platform Operations Engineers are the operational backbone of the CloudOps organization.
Once a product has met operational readiness requirements, this team is responsible for provisioning infrastructure, deploying cloud services, configuring AWS resources, and maintaining the operational health of the environment.
Your role:
Ensureday?to?day operation, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and platform serviceswith high reliability and uptime.
Work closely withCloud Operations Readiness Lead, product engineering teams, and service organizationto ensure stable production environments.
Develop expertise inAWS operations, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and monitoring, contributing toplatform scalability and operational efficiency improvements.
Provision and manageAWS infrastructure and platform services,
including configuration, scaling, patching, and upgrades.
Monitor environments andtroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve critical incidentsto ensure service continuity.
You're the right fit if you have:
5–10 years in cloud/platform operations, strong hands?on experience withAWS production environmentsandincident management.
Strong knowledge ofAWS (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, monitoring),Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation),CI/CD pipelines,scripting (Python/Bash), andproduction troubleshooting.
aBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systemsor equivalent experience.
Familiarity withDocker/Kubernetes,monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog), and strongautomation mindsetwith focus onreliability and continuous improvement.
