Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
Valid authorization to work in Italy.
Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, materials, welding, or a related technical discipline.
Solid background in pipeline technologies for onshore energy projects.
Knowledge of international industry codes and standards (e.g., EN, ASME, API, BS).
Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and specialist activities.
Strong understanding of welding processes, NDT methods, corrosion protection, and materials engineering.

Proficiency in English; additional project-related languages are considered an advantage.
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Tasks:
Lead and integrate welding, inspection, materials, and corrosion functions to ensure effective project delivery.
Provide specialist technical guidance to project teams throughout execution phases.
Oversee the allocation, coordination, and development of technical personnel.
Plan and deliver training activities to strengthen team capability and performance.
Interpret client specifications and applicable international standards, ensuring full technical compliance.
Monitor field progress and proactively resolve issues related to welding quality, inspection, materials, and corrosion control.
Contribute to innovation programs and the implementation of enhanced engineering solutions.
Review industry publications and technical developments to identify new opportunities and best practices.
Conduct technology and market assessments to maintain operational and commercial competitiveness.
