Position SummaryThe Engineering Manager is responsible for leading all engineering projects at the Caivano Plant focused on chemical process optimization, cost and energy consumption reduction, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of all manufacturing assets, utilities and infrastructures of the plant.The Engineering Manager develops capital investment plans aligned with business objectives, driving the execution of all capital projects, asset reliability improvement initiatives and continuous modernization programs of the plant.The position is accountable for the Energy Management System as plant RSGE, in accordance with ISO 50001 requirements and serves as the Plant Process Safety Coordinator, ensuring the implementation of the PPG Process Safety Management System, fostering a strong safety culture throughout the site.The Engineering Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager and is a key member of the Plant Leadership Team.Main AccountabilitiesHealth, Safety, Environment and Process SafetyEnsure full compliance with Company EHS standards,
local regulations and applicable legal requirements.Lead engineering activities with a strong focus on personnel safety, process safety and environmental protection.Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities are executed according to safe work practices, permit-to-work requirements and contractor management procedures.Act as Plant Process Safety Coordinator and ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of Process Safety Management (PSM) practices.Coordinate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), HAZOP studies and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), for all projects and assets modification activities.Monitor process safety performance indicators and lead initiatives to reduce process safety risks.Participate proactively in the EHS Leadership Team and contribute to the continuous improvement of EHS performance.Manage and govern the Management of Change (MOC) process for technical, organizational and proced
