EUC Support / Field IT Support Engineer- (Dispatch/Freelance)

Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced EUC Support / Field IT Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support for end users, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and IT infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, user support, device configuration, installations, and maintaining IT assets at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1/Level 2 onsite EUC and desktop support to end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripherals .
- Perform hardware installation, configuration, replacement, and troubleshooting.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems, applications, drivers, and security tools .
- Support Microsoft 365 / Office 365 , Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft applications.
- Perform user account, password, and access-related troubleshooting in coordination with the appropriate teams.
- Support Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID , Group Policy, and basic endpoint administration.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including LAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and IP configuration .
- Perform device imaging, OS deployment, software installation, patching, and endpoint configuration.
- Support endpoint management platforms such as SCCM/MECM, Intune, Ivanti , or similar tools.
- Handle IT asset installation, inventory, tagging, validation, movement, and decommissioning .
- Provide hands-and-feet support for network and infrastructure teams when required.
- Assist with server room / network room activities , including basic cable tracing, patching, labeling,
and equipment validation.
- Support IT projects such as device refresh, office moves, hardware rollouts, migrations, and site deployments .
- Coordinate with remote infrastructure, network, security, and application teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, assets, and activities in the ITSM/ticketing system .
- Follow defined SLA, ITIL, security, and operational procedures .
- Prepare activity reports and provide regular status updates to the onsite/remote management team.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 desktop and laptop troubleshooting .
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 .
- Knowledge of Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID) .
- Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting .
- Experience with desktop hardware and peripheral troubleshooting .
- Knowledge of SCCM/MECM, Intune, Ivanti, or other endpoint management tools .
- Experience with OS imaging, deployment, and software installation .
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, or similar platforms .
- Basic knowledge of network devices such as switches, routers, access points, and firewalls is preferred.
- Ability to perform onsite hardware replacement, cabling, asset validation, and equipment installation .
Note- Backfill Engineer – IT Support
Backfill requirement for an IT Support Engineer to ensure uninterrupted IT support and site operations. The engineer will handle day-to-day user support, troubleshooting of hardware/software issues, network connectivity, system access, and other IT-related incidents.
