System Marketing Manager - Healthcare

Role Summary The System Marketing Manager - Healthcare drives the definition, positioning, and go-to-market execution of silicon-based system solutions for the healthcare vertical. This role bridges deep technical understanding of healthcare medical devices with commercial strategy, owning the creation of reference designs and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate NXP's value proposition to OEM partners while carrying global business responsibility for the healthcare segment.
Key Responsibilities Reference Design & Proof-of-Concept Definition o Define system reference design and PoC requirements (MRDs) for priority healthcare applications (e.g., patient monitoring, CGM, infusion pumps, POCUS, surgical robotics) o Translate clinical and OEM use cases into technical specifications spanning MCU/MPU, analog front-end, connectivity, security, and AI compute o Lead cross‐functional execution with systems engineering, applications, and design teams from concept through working demonstrator o Prepare program introduction materials (business case, technical brief, executive readout) to secure internal investment and resourcing o Define success criteria, BOM cost targets, and differentiation vs. competitive solutions (TI, ADI, onsemi, STM) Global Business Responsibility o Own healthcare segment revenue, design‐win pipeline,
and SAM/forecast tracking across regions o Build and maintain relationships with global OEM partners and Tier‐1 accounts o Coordinate regional sales and FAE teams to align global strategy with local execution o Track competitive landscape and market share movement; report against business KPIs Marketing & Content o Develop technical articles, white papers, and benchmarking content for executive and customer‐facing audiences o Support executive strategy decks, design‐win playbooks, and roadmap communications o Represent NXP healthcare strategy in customer engagements, trade shows, and analyst briefings Qualifications BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; MBA a plus 7+ years in semiconductor system marketing, applications engineering, or product management, with healthcare/medical device exposure Demonstrated experience taking a reference design from definition through customer‐facing launch Strong grasp of regulatory context (IEC 60601, FDA) as it shapes system architecture decisions Excellent written/verbal communication for senior executive (VP/SVP/GM) and OEM partner audiences * Global travel availability NXP is committed to equal pay for equal work and work of equal value and applies fair, consistent and transparent remuneration practices.
As of the date of this posting, the estimated gross annual base salary range for this position in Italy is between 50,600 € and 69,600 € annually. This range is intended as a guideline. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, and specific business or organizational needs.
This position falls under the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (Metalmeccanica Industria). Where relevant, the total compensation package may also include additional elements such as annual incentive opportunities and/or equity, along with a competitive benefits package.
