Our mobile app is where everything starts: it's how drivers, adjusters, and repair shops capture the images and videos that feed our 3D reconstruction engine.
We're looking for a Founding Mobile Engineer to own it end-to-end, from the camera pipeline to the App Store.
What You'll Do
Own the mobile app end-to-end: architecture, development, releases, and monitoring on both iOS and Android.
Build guided capture experiences (camera, video, AR overlays) that help non-experts collect reconstruction-grade footage of vehicles and accident scenes.
Design offline-first, reliable upload pipelines for large media files in poor network conditions (roadside, parking garages, body shops).
Integrate tightly with our AI backend: real-time feedback on capture quality, on-device pre-processing, and model-driven UX.
Set up mobile CI/CD,
testing, and analytics from scratch.
You decide how we ship.
Work directly with the founders and the AI team to turn research capabilities into product features users love.
What We're Looking For
4+ years of mobile development with apps shipped to production at scale.
Strong experience with Flutter or React Native, or deep native experience (Swift/Kotlin) and willingness to go cross-platform.
Hands-on experience with camera/media APIs; ARKit/ARCore or computer-vision-adjacent work is a strong plus.
You care about performance, reliability, and UX details.
Our users are often stressed people standing next to a crashed car.
Product mindset: you talk to users, propose features, and challenge specs.
Entrepreneurial mindset: eager to build something that scales globally.
Being a genius is a strong plus.
What We Offer
A pivotal role: you'll be among the first 10 team members and shape both the technology and culture of Liablix.
Competitive salary (RAL): €40,000 - €50,000 annually.
Equity: meaningful stake (indicatively 0.3% - 0.5%) in stock options with standard 4-year vesting (1-year cliff).
Under the Italian innovative-startup regime,
options are exempt from income tax and you only pay capital gains when you sell.
Salary growth built in: compensation is reviewed at the next funding round and upon hitting company milestones, plus a performance premio.
Former Spooners: €10,000 extra on top of the RAL and an additional 0.3% equity, for a total of €50,000 - €60,000 annually and 0.6% - 0.8% in stock options.
