Role DescriptionMeta Futura Aerospace is seeking a highly passionate and talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, analysing, and testing innovative pointing mechanisms for satellite systems. You will be involved in developing, simulating, and validating designs that withstand the challenging conditions of space, including vibrations, vacuum, and thermal extremes. This role also involves integrating these mechanisms with propulsion systems, actuators,



and electronics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design for aerospace or space applications.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS).
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes suitable for space systems.
- Strong understanding of structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis for spacecraft systems.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to communicate technical challenges, explain rationale and/or resolve concerns.

Bonus Points
- Hands-on experience with propulsion systems and their mechanical integration.
- Familiarity with compliant mechanisms and their design process.
- Familiarity with ESA/European space programs and standards.
- Knowledge of advanced simulation techniques for aerospace applic
