pbBESS Commissioning Engineer - CHINESE SPEAKER REQUIRED /b /ppbr/ppbLocation: /b Italy (on-site) + International assignments /ppbSector: /b Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) /ppbSalary: /bUp to €85,000 /ppbLanguages: /bChinese English (Mandatory), Italian (preffered) /ppbr/ppPiper Maddox is supporting a leading energy technology company looking for a bBESS Commissioning Engineer /b to support the delivery and commissioning of large-scale battery storage projects across Europe and international markets.
/ppbr/ppThis is a hands-on site-based role, working across commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and project acceptance, while collaborating with engineering, project management, RD and after-sales teams.
/ppbr/ppbResponsibilities /b /pulliSupport the bcommissioning, testing and acceptance of utility-scale BESS projects /b.
/liliCommission and troubleshoot battery systems, including bBMS, HVAC/liquid cooling, fire suppression, DC and auxiliary AC systems /b.
/liliSupport the commissioning of bPCS and EMS /b.
/liliDiagnose faults, resolve technical issues and manage defects through to closure.
/liliParticipate in bSAT, grid connection testing and project handover /b.
/liliSupport customer training on system operation and maintenance.
/liliWork closely with bProject Management, RD, Quality and After-Sales teams /b to resolve site issues.
/liliEnsure all commissioning activities are completed safely and in line with EHS requirements.
/liliTravel extensively and undertake longer-term assignments at international project sites.
/li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements /b /pulliBachelor's degree in bElectrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, Communications Engineering /b or a related field.
/lilib1–3 years' experience /b in electrical commissioning, energy projects or a similar environment.
/liliBasic understanding of bBESS, PV or power systems /b, including BMS, PCS and EMS.
/liliAbility to read belectrical schematics, wiring diagrams and communication drawings /b.
/liliKnowledge of bCAN, Modbus RTU/TCP /b or similar communication protocols.
/liliUnderstanding of electrical systems, grid connection or substation equipment is advantageous.
/liliStrong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
/lilibEnglish speaking skills.
/b /liliWillingness to travel extensively internationally.
/li /ulpbr/ppbDesirable /b /pulliPrevious experience with bBESS, solar PV or wind projects /b.
/liliLV/HV electrical qualifications.
/liliInternational project experience.
