Your new roleAs our new Environmental Permitting Consultant you will contribute towards creating a sustainable future and work on our inspiring projects and innovative solutions that aim to set the standard among our peers. We will consider remote/hybrid working as an option with a willingness to travel for internal/external meetings. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Critically reviewing and interpreting EU and Italian environmental regulations
- Assisting in preparing major and minor permit applications (e.g. AIA, AUA, etc.)
- Assisting in preparing studies under Italia Environmental Impact Assessment legislation (screening di VIA, SIA, VINCA, etc.)
- Assisting clients in maintaining their operation in compliance with existing environmental permits (air emissions, waste management, wastewater control, etc.)
- Preparing emissions calculations for industrial sources
- Conducting compliance assessment against of Best Available Techniques for various industries (Manufacturing, Metallurgy, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Waste Treatment, etc.)
- Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control
