In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to define product requirements, design innovative electronic solutions, and support the full product lifecycle from concept and development through testing, production launch, and lifecycle management.You will be involved in the design of analogue electronic architectures, the development and testing of electronic boards, the creation of technical documentation, the resolution of technical and manufacturing challenges, and the design of dedicated testing equipment.This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge products within a collaborative and international environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:To conceive new designs and schematics for new productsTo maintain existing products and reviewing existing designs, changing components etcTo prepare design related documentationTo perform testing, validation, verification and troubleshooting on circuit board prototypes using lab equipmentTo oversee and perform customer return testing and suggest design improvements or corrective action based on evaluation of test dataTo define design requirements and work with external contractors for layout and other support activities when necessaryTo communicate with suppliers,
manufacturers and distributors for part selection and troubleshootingTo be compliant with workplace health and safety requirements and directions when working on customer / dealer / end user sitesWhat We're Looking For5+ year experience in a similar positionGood analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong grasp on fundamentals of circuit analysis and designSignificant experience in analogue circuit design such as analogue front ends, signal conditioning systems and power management systemsGood knowledge with Cadence OrCAD X PlatformGood knowledge of PCB design and layout considerationsExpertise in the use of analogue circuits simulation toolsExperience in measurements with laboratory instruments (Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, etc.)Hands-on approach, whether it be building a prototype or performing testing with dedicated test benchesTeamwork attitudeA relevant Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experienceNice To HaveExperience in RF & Microwaves Circuits DesignFamiliarity with industry standards for analogue circuit designKnowledge of basic principles of Electro Magnetic Compatibility and EM propagationExperience with Altium PlatformExpertise in the use of electromagnetic (EM) simulation software (HFSS)Basic knowledge of Labview or Python scriptingComputer SkillsMicrosoft Office: good knowledge of Power Point, Excel, Word, OutlookLanguagesItalian nativeEnglish: professional working proficiency, both written and spokenTravel RequirementsA very small part of working time may be spent traveling to:meet suppliers when neededperform on site measurement and give support to other deptsCompensationWe offer a permanent employment contract. The final compensation offered will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role.Annual gross salary range: €38.000 - 43.000
