This role suits a consultancy-trained professional with a strong track record in mission-critical, technology, or complex infrastructure builds — ideally from a PQS, PM, or client advisory background. This is a multi-year programme where you'll guide project setup, stakeholder governance, cost, and delivery structure before construction begins.

Long-term project. Permanent preferred, but open to contract.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all pre-construction activity including planning, commercial strategy, procurement, and riskAct as the senior client-side liaison between developers, funders, contractors, and internal stakeholdersBuild, mentor,

and manage the consultant team across design, cost, and scheduling functionsReport directly to the client's executive leadership, guiding strategic decisions and project positioningManage design development, tendering, and early-stage contractor engagementEstablish delivery KPIs, project controls, and reporting proceduresCandidate Requirements: Minimum 10+ years in a senior PM or Director role within client-side consultancy or cost/project management firmProven experience leading large-scale real estate, technology, or mission-critical developmentsExpert understanding of project lifecycles, from pre-construction to mobilisationStrong commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management skillsCapable of leading multidisciplinary teams and aligning multiple workstreamsDegree-qualified; chartership preferred (RICS, APM, CIOB, etc.)Fluent English essential; Italian a bonusWhat's On Offer:120,000 – 125,000 base salary + Travel + Accommodation + 1,200 Net Living Allowance + (or flexible day rate for contractors)Key leadership role on a flagship data centre projectWork with an established and respected client teamMilan-based, long-term strategic delivery roleCareer-defining opportunity in a rapidly growing sector
