We are looking for a Senior R&D; Engineer to join our Capsules Business Unit , playing a key role in delivering new product solutions from concept to industrial validation.
The role is based in Bodio Lomnago (VA).
Your Mission
Drive product innovation and ensure disciplined, execution-focused R&D; activities - delivering robust, scalable solutions across our global industrial footprint.
What You’ll Do
Lead innovation and customer-driven development projects from concept to industrial validation
Apply structured Innovation & Product Development processes (stage-gate approach)
Ensure clear documentation, milestone tracking, and project progression
Evaluate industrial feasibility (materials, processes, product solutions)
Coordinate validation plans (mechanical, environmental, durability testing)
Identify technical risks and contribute to mitigation strategies
Support root cause analysis when needed
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Operations teams
Ensure alignment across multiple international sites
Provide structured reporting to Group R&D;
Who You Are
Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
5–9 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience in product innovation and development projects
Strong project management skills (planning, coordination, execution)
Experience with multi-component industrial products
Comfortable working in cross-functional and international environments
Fluent in English and Italian, other languages would be an asset
Salary package: CCNL Gomma Plastica, €40.000 -€50.000
