Our stratospheric balloons are changing the way we observe and interact with our planet. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated Launch Operations Technician to join our operations team. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be a part of a pioneering field, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in stratospheric technology. The balloons are the spacecraft of Stratostats, our pseudo-satellite platform:
Key responsibilities
Collaboration with Engineering Team: Work closely with our engineers in the mission preparation, with simulations and predictions.
Flight Testing: Play a critical role in conducting test and commercial flights.
Launch and Recovery Operations: Collaborate with our launch team in deploying, preparing, and launching balloons.
After mission completion, be a key player in the recovery and storage of both the balloon and the gondola, ensuring they are ready for future use.
Qualifications
Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field.
At least 1 years of experience in operations, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical shape for recovery operations.
