Captain - 47m New Build Rossinavi Explorer Motor Yacht - Private/Charter

Employment Start Date: Sept 1, 2026

Location: Italy

Contract: Permanent

Program: Private and charter

Itinerary: Med, world cruising (TBD)

Vessel Delivery date: May 2027

We are seeking a captain to take command from the new-build phase through delivery and into operation.

The ideal candidate will bring new-build experience, a charter background, and experience navigating remote, off-the-beaten-path destinations. This is a unique opportunity to work with active, family-oriented American owners on a private and charter program designed for exploration.

Requirements
- License: Master 500gt license or higher
- Strong background in remote cruising and navigation




- Ability to set high standards onboard with a professional demeanor and discretion
- Charter experience is preferred
- Effective leadership and communication skills​
- Verifiable references
- Valid Schengen visa OR EU passport
- Valid STCW, ENG1
- Spoken and written English to a high standard
- WIllingness to undergo a criminal background check prior to employment

Package
- Salary: DOE
- Leave: 60 days annually
- Medical Insurance: provided by vessel
- Flights: covered by vessel
