Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Rome. Located in the iconic Palazzo Fendi, with a stunning restaurant and beautiful roof terrace overlooking the “eternal city”, this restaurant is an essential experience in Rome. Zuma Rome is proud to be part of the Azumi Collection.
Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:

Prepare a variety of desserts and pastry items in accordance with recipes and guidance from senior chefs, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Maintain adequate mise en place levels for seamless service, focusing on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
- Monitor the quality, consistency, appearance, and taste of all food products,
delivering excellence in every dish
- Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas, ensuring compliance with Zuma’s rigorous cleanliness and safety standards
- Take an active interest in learning other kitchen sections to support team collaboration and adaptability
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance to reflect Zuma’s commitment to professionalism
