ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose
Joining a dynamic and motivated compound development team,
the R&D; compound development engineer will lead design, develop and validate innovative compound solutions for the future Bridgestone products.
The candidate will play a key role in the development of new commercial compound development through his/her solid knowledge on Material Science, Chemistry and industrial process technology, covering a wide range of activities from design thinking of compound prototype, laboratory investigation, compound validation on tire until industrialization stage.
Responsibilities

- Design, develop and validate new tread compound formulations providing proposals, solutions and original ideas along cross functional team-working with the Raw Material Development, Pattern Design Engineering, Tire Design, Manufacturing and Product Category Management teams.
