The Area Manager is responsible for the profitable growth of revenue and market share across a defined international area.



He/she drives the commercial and marketing strategy in close collaboration with headquarters teams and ensures optimal execution of activation plans with distributors and direct customers (grocery retail, organic networks) across multiple markets.
Commercial Development & Account Management :
Define and deploy the commercial strategy across each market within the area.
Identify and capture growth opportunities (new customers, new categories, product innovations).
Build and develop partnerships with:
Local and regional distributors
Grocery retail chains
Specialist organic retail networks
Negotiate commercial agreements (pricing, promotions, assortments, logistics terms) taking into account the regulatory and cultural specificities of each market.
Lead tender processes and product listings.
Business Planning & Performance Management:
Build the multi-annual strategic Business Plan and annual operating plan by market, by customer and by area.
Develop and manage the local Brand Plan in line with the international strategy.
