Role Description

The Bilingual Support Assistant (W-2 Contract) at Jubilee Scholars is an in-person position based at USAG Italy's Army Community Service (ACS), in Caserma Vicenza, Italy. The position is Tempo parziale (20 hours per week) with benefits, Overtime is not authorized. Expected work hours are 0300 to 1700, Monday through Friday. U.S. Federal holidays and installation closure days are observed. The contract is for 10 months with a possible extension of services up to 4 years. The role provides bilingual assistance at ACS locations to support linguistic needs related to local integration, relocation services, and administrative tasks. Day-to-day tasks include completing specific tasks along with translation and linguisitic support tasks. The position requires consistent availability during agreed-upon working hours and a commitment to reliable, high-quality service. Uniform shirts will be required with business casual attire.

Must present a neat and well-groomed appearance and professional behavior. Must be cleared for military base entry, successfully complete training requirements, and complete additional duties, as needed.

Pay: PT, $16 per hour USD, paid bi-weekly, with benefits

Qualifications

- Education: Minimum High School Diploma.
- Experience: At least two (2) years of documented work experience in administrative functions, customer service, and/or office operations.
- Language Proficiency: Mandatory fluent Level 4 in both English and Italian (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Capable of performing verbal interpretations and routine small (up to 3 pages) and large document translations (4 to over 20 pages) with submission ranges between 2 days to up to 3 pages per business day.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must pass a background check
- Drug-free workplace
- Italian driver's license is beneficial for use of a personal vehicle, not required. Alternatively, you can use rideshare or public transportation.
- Valid Passport/Visa
