The role:
The Export Manager Germany is responsible for leading commercial development and driving sustainable growth across the German market within the Food Manufacturers (FM) segment.
Based in Italy and reporting to the Group headquarters in Gallarate, the role combines strategic account management, business development, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
A strong presence in the market is essential; therefore, the position requires frequent travel throughout Germany to support key customers, develop new business opportunities, and reinforce long-term partnerships.
What will you do:
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the German market in the FM segment
- Manage and grow the assigned customer portfolio while identifying new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners
- Develop account plans, monitor sales performance, and manage forecasts and budgets
- Collaborate with R&D;, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions and support innovation projects
- Organize customer meetings, workshops, innovation sessions,
and product presentations
- Support product development initiatives by translating customer and market needs into business opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
- Represent the company at customer visits, trade fairs, and industry events
- Ensure the achievement of sales, profitability, and business development targets within the assigned territory
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field
- Professional Skills/Experience: 8+ years of experience in Export Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Management within the B2B Food industry. Excellent communication; strong analytical skills; ability to plan and achieve goals; knowledge of the ingredients and, in general, the range of IRCA products; technical knowledge and significant experience gained in product application. Problem solving, entrepreneurship.
- Language Skills: Fluent Italian, German and English
- Computer Skills: MS Office
- Behavioral Requirements: commercial aptitude, strong communication, ability to understand customer needs; can build long-lasting relationships; strong orientation to the result; leadership; problem solving
- Other: Willingness to travel extensively across Germany, with travel representing more than 75% of working time

- Working hours: Tempo pieno, 40h/week, from Monday to Friday

- Meal vouchers: €8 for each day spent in the office
- Remuneration:
starting from RAL 60.000€ + variable bonus
