Since 2018, Agap2 Italia has been operating nationwide in the following sectors: bEnergy, Oil Gas, Steel, Hydrogen, Power Generation and Construction. /b /p h3ABOUT THE ROLE – Electrical Engineer /h3 pWe are looking for an bElectrical Engineer /b to join an important bOil Gas /b project. /p pReporting to the bJacket Engineering Coordinator /b, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment for Oil Gas facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, project specifications and safety requirements throughout all project phases. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Design Engineering /h3 ul liReview and contribute to the design of electrical power distribution systems, including bLV, MV and HV /b systems. /li liReview bSingle Line Diagrams (SLDs), load lists, cable schedules, grounding and lighting layouts /b. /li liReview electrical equipment selection, including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, batteries and motors. /li liSupport electrical system studies such as bload flow, short circuit, arc flash and protection coordination /b. /li liEnsure compliance with applicable industry standards, including bIEC, NEC, IEEE, API, NEMA and ATEX /b. /li /ul h3Project Execution Procurement /h3 ul liReview vendor documentation and technical specifications. /li liPrepare bMaterial Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs) /b and equipment datasheets. /li liInterface with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams to ensure proper integration of electrical systems with other disciplines. /li liSupport technical clarification and coordination activities with vendors and suppliers. /li /ul h3Construction Commissioning /h3 ul liSupervise electrical installation activities and verify compliance with approved designs and project standards. /li liSupport inspection,
testing and pre-commissioning of electrical equipment. /li liParticipate in bFATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) /b and bSATs (Site Acceptance Tests) /b. /li liSupport troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning. /li /ul h3Operations Maintenance /h3 ul liProvide technical support to Operations teams for troubleshooting and maintenance activities. /li liReview condition-monitoring data, including bIR thermography and insulation resistance tests /b. /li liParticipate in root cause analysis of electrical failures. /li liSupport activities aimed at maintaining asset integrity and optimizing electrical system performance throughout the asset lifecycle. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul libBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering /b or equivalent qualification. /li liAt least b5 years of professional experience /b in the relevant discipline after obtaining the university degree. /li liPrevious experience in electrical engineering activities within the bOil Gas sector /b, preferably in onshore and/or offshore environments. /li liIn-depth knowledge of electrical design for Oil Gas facilities. /li liGood knowledge of bhazardous area classification /b and electrical equipment selection. /li liExperience with electrical system modelling software such as bETAP, SKM or DIgSILENT /b. /li liGood understanding of electrical protection systems, earthing, lighting and lightning protection. /li liKnowledge of relevant international standards and regulations. /li liStrong analytical, coordination and communication skills. /li libExcellent spoken and written English /b,
