Among all organisations based in Lombardy, ICONS ranks third by number of projects funded under the Horizon Europe programme. /p pbFor our Science Communication department, we are looking for a Science Communication Junior Officer. /b /p pYou will learn to organise and implement the communication and dissemination strategy of EU funded projects – mainly HE- in multiple areas, including energy, smart cities, circular economy, bio-economy, health and sustainability. /p h3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liDeveloping the communication strategies and plans of RI projects, ensuring alignment between the communication objectives and the overall goals of the projects. /li liDeveloping and delivering editorial content on the key project’s results and activities (website content, newsletters, press releases, articles, infographics, event reviews, scripts for videos,…) and presentations for both offline and online communication channels. /li liWorking in close coordination with the other members of the ICONS science communication team: graphic and web designers, social media and video makers, journalists. /li liIdentifying and managing relations with relevant stakeholders, organizing workshops and events. /li liMonitoring and assessing the outcomes and impacts of the communication efforts, including analysis and reporting towards the project’s consortium and the EC.

We expect: /p ul liFlexibility and strong team-working skills with a cooperative problem-solving attitude. /li liWillingness to learn. /li liAbility to load balance across multiple projects. /li liStrong Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). /li liCommunication and presentation skills (both oral and written) in Italian and English (C1/C2 level or equivalent). /li liExcellent writing skills. /li /ul h3BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE /h3 ul liUniversity degree in communication, economic/social science, political sciences or science communication studies. /li liInterest in science communication, Europe and sustainability. /li liCommunication and presentation skills (both oral and written) in Italian and English (C2 level or equivalent). /li liPrevious experiences in journalism will be considered as a plus. /li /ul h3WORKING LOCATION /h3 pHybrid (Lodi office and remote working) /p h3CONTRACT /h3 pWe are seeking a student, a recent graduate, or a professional with some relevant experience who is motivated to join our team. ICONS is looking for professionals to collaborate on a long-term basis, either as VAT-registered consultants or employees.
