Senior Project Manager Retail Construction | Archo SrlArcho Srl is looking for a Senior Project Manager Retail Construction to strengthen our team and take responsibility for complex retail construction, fit-out, refit and store opening projects for international brands across Europe.We are looking for an experienced, autonomous and hands-on professional who can take ownership of projects from planning through to final handover, managing clients, designers, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors while maintaining control of schedule, costs, quality and project delivery.The Senior Project Manager will play a key role within the team and may also act as a reference point for more junior Project Managers.Key responsibilitiesTake overall responsibility for assigned retail construction projects from planning to final handover.Manage day-to-day relationships with international clients and brand teams.Coordinate designers, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors and local partners.Establish and monitor project schedules, milestones and budgets.Control project costs, progress payments, variations, purchase orders and key commercial aspects.Monitor construction progress and proactively manage risks and critical issues.Ensure quality standards and brand requirements are fully respected.Coordinate all activities required for store completion and opening.Prepare regular reports covering progress, costs, risks and corrective actions.Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Support and coordinate more junior Project Managers.Attend construction sites and travel frequently across Europe.Requirements5–8+ years of experience in project management, retail construction, fit-out, shopfitting or related fields.Proven experience independently managing construction or fit-out projects.Strong experience in cost, schedule,
variation and contractor management.Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.Fluent English – full professional proficiency, both written and spoken.Willingness to travel frequently and, when required, spend extended periods on projects across Europe.Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.Strong ownership, commercial awareness and results-oriented mindset.Experience with international fashion, premium or luxury brands, outlet/high street retail or multi-store rollouts is highly desirable.A technical background in architecture, engineering, surveying or construction management is a plus.A second European language is an advantage.What we offerA key role within an international retail construction company.Responsibility for projects involving leading international brands.A high level of autonomy and direct impact on project results.The opportunity to become a key reference within the Project Management team.A dynamic, international and multi-project environment.Professional growth and increasing responsibility.Compensation package commensurate with experience and skills.Based in: Novara, Piedmont, ItalyScope: International projects across EuropeEnglish is a key working language of the role.
