This role is strategic for improving and optimising business operations and production processes. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the implementation of advanced artificial vision solutions, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency, quality and sustainability of Pirelli’s production activities.YOUR CORE ACTIVITIESCommunication and dissemination of results and technological advancements to both internal and external stakeholders, to foster a shared understanding of the solutions adoptedDesign and development of advanced models, with a focus on computer vision applications aimed at improving production processesCross-functional collaboration with various departments,
aimed at integrating artificial intelligence solutions into industrial processes and finished productsIn-depth analysis of complex and diverse datasets to identify opportunities for optimising quality and efficiency within the manufacturing contextWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORMaster’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldsFluency in EnglishHands-on experience in Computer Vision applications, including object detection, image segmentation, and anomaly detection on real-world and industrial datasets2+ years of experience in developing and optimizing d Deep Learning models, with solid understanding of neural network architectures (CNNs, Transformers) and training, validation, and hyperparameter tuning techniquesProven ability to design and deliver end-to-end solutions, from data collection and preprocessing to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production environments, thorough advanced algorhitms, ML and neural networksStrong knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for Machine Learning (GitLab CI), model versioning, automated testing, and performance monitoringWHAT PUTS YOU IN POLE POSITIONExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, preferred) and scalable ML infrastructureKnowledge of multimodal models integrating visual and non-visual dataExperience with Generative AI models and fine-tuning techniquesExperience with edge deployment or embedded systemsPhD in Computer Science or related fieldCOMPENSATION PACKAGEThe employment contract will be regulated by “Gomma Plastica” National Collective Bargaining AgreementThe gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than 35.000The Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualificationsThe position’s compensation package also includes a variable component and a competitive welfare and benefits offer.
