We are looking for a Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer to support our Sales Team in developing the Italy market. The role focuses on providing technical expertise, designing customer solutions, and supporting customers and partners throughout the pre-sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales Managers during customer visits and commercial meetings by providing technical expertise.
- Understand customer requirements and develop suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare system layouts, configurations, and technical proposals.
- Provide technical training and product support to key electrical distributors.
- Build and maintain relationships with consulting engineers and introduce new products, certifications, and solutions.
- Collect market feedback and identify potential business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Sales Team to support project development and sales growth, particularly in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) market .
Requirements
- Previous experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Sales, Solution Engineering, or a similar technical customer-facing role .
- Experience in solar PV, energy storage, inverters, electrical equipment, or renewable energy is preferred.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and technical solution design.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Customer-oriented with a strong commercial mindset.
- Fluent in English . xykwogc
- Willingness to travel within Italy.
