We are seeking a director for VILLA NO. 9, a psychological thriller centered on emotional tension, control, and shifting perception between two central characters. The film takes place in a contained Sicilian villa environment, where psychological pressure builds through dialogue, silence,
and evolving power dynamics rather than external action. Villa No. 9 is a Berlin International Screenwriting Festival 2026 Finalist. We are looking for a filmmaker with a strong visual language and a sensitivity to psychological storytelling – someone who understands how to translate internal emotional states into cinematic atmosphere, subtext, and controlled visual tension.
