To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Mechanical Designer with a passion for technology and the design of complex solutions.
3D mechanical design of frames, assemblies and sub-assemblies for AGVs and automated handling systems.
~ Modelling and drafting of components, including fabricated structures, moving parts, welded and machined structures.
~ Support for mechanical integration with electrical, electronic and pneumatic systems.
~ Collaboration with automation and production teams to optimise manufacturability and assembly.
~ Review and control of technical documentation.
~ Participation in prototyping, assembly and testing activities.
~ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, or technical diploma.

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the AGV sector; Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably Inventor, and of the design of fabricated structures and mechanical parts.
Ability to create complex assemblies and complete manufacturing drawings with tolerances and finishes.
Good knowledge of metallic materials, surface treatments, tolerances and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with FEM analysis and structural calculations will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of technical English, including reading drawings and specifications.
